Ultra-luxurious Cruise Ship Sails in the Aegean

The French-flagged “Le Bougainville” spotted off Volos

One of the most beautiful and glamorous medium-sized cruise ships in the world, the French-flagged “Le Bougainville,” on Wednesday docked at the port of Volos, bringing the first tourists of the 2019 tourist season to the area.
The French-flagged cruise ship/megayacht, which belongs to the company Ponant Cruises, inaugurated the cruise season for the central Greek port. The cruise ship had sailed from the island of Paros, while its next stop is the idyllic island of Mykonos.

Construction of the 128-meter long cruise ship was just finished in 2019, and it can carry up to 184 passengers in its 92 cabins, along with a 110-member crew.
The shipping company Ponant conducts luxury cruises in the Mediterranean and has had a presence in Greek waters since 1988.

This year, the company has scheduled over 170 cruise ship embarkations in Greece.
The services and facilities that this specific cruise ship offers to its passengers are far above ordinary standards, and trips on “Le Bougainville” are referred to as the “cruises of the millionaires.”
