Greece's Syros Ready to Swing to Tango Rhythms in International Festival

The beautiful Aegean island of Syros is ready to be swept away by tango music and dancing between June 14 and 17, as world-renowned international performers and artists are set to participate in the fifth annual Syros Tango Festival.
The festival began several years ago, when people from all over Greece who love the tango came together on the island for a series of performances.
Since then, the Syros Tango Festival has proven to be one of the most important gatherings of tango lovers around the globe. Tango aficionados have the chance not only to perform their favorite dance moves but also to explore one of Greece’s most beautiful and historic islands in the heart of Summer.
Some of the world-famous participants who will bring extra glam to this island tango rendezvous include Natalia Hills, Alejandro Aquino, Fernando Gracia, Sol Cerquides, Ivan Talanin’s Orchestra ”Tango En Vivo,” Naima Gerasopoulou, Lucas Gauto, Gabriel Marino, Vassia Thanopoulou, Rojer Zalazar, and Lia Selalmazidi.
Syros is the capital island in the stunning archipelago of the Cyclades, and the town of Ermoupolis is the Cycladic administrative center.
