Vandals Deface Office Entrance of ''Athens Voice'' Website

Source: Kathimerini

Unknown individuals vandalized the entrance of the building where the offices of the famous Greek newspaper and website ”Athens Voice” are located.
The perpetrators, on Monday night,  did not manage to enter the building but they spray-painted on the door and the floor of the entrance. Some of the written slogans were saying ”for every racist report, you’ll have to confront feminism” and ”in solidarity with migrants”.
The incident came only a few hours after ”Athens Voice” caused a general outcry with a post it uploaded on its social media platform.
The website uploaded a comment, where it was making a joke about the tragic death of a nurse from Armenia, who fell to the ground from a hospital window in Athens several days ago.
The website was forced to delete the post, but even when it tried to apologize, wider negative reactions were caused, as the newspaper has not actually accepted its responsibility for the post.
