Anarchists Storm Polling Station and Burn Ballot Box in Athens

A group of ten self-styled anarchists stormed a polling station in Exarcheia, the infamous neighborhood of Athens, stole a ballot box and set it on fire a few minutes before the voting ended for the general elections.

The perpetrators used a sledgehammer to threaten electoral clerks before grabbing the ballot box and making off with it.

According to Greek electoral law, the voting at the polling station will be repeated next Sunday.
