Thessaloniki, Greece’s second largest city, was also affected by the deadly storm that hit nearby Halkidiki on Wednesday evening.
Video captured by a cell phone shows the scary moment lighting hits a building in the center of the city.
There were no reports of injuries in Thessaloniki as torrential rain and gale force winds swept throughout northern Greece.
