Greece’s Kristian Gkolomeev Wins Silver Medal in World Swimming Championships



Kristian Gkolomeev won the silver medal in the 50m freestyle finals in South Korea, where the World Swimming Championships are taking place.

Gkolomeev came second, following Caeleb Dressel from the US who finished first.

Gkolomeev shared the silver medal with Brazil’s Bruno Fratus, as they both finished at 21.45 seconds.

The Greek athlete is 26 years old and he was born in Velingrad, Bulgaria. He is the son of the famous Bulgarian swimmer, Tsvetan Golomeev.
