Earthquake Rattles Southeastern Aegean

An earthquake measuring 4.8 on the Richter scale struck off the coast of Karpathos at midday on Saturday.
Greece’s Geodynamic Institute reported that the quake’s epicenter was 71 kilometers off the southeastern Aegean island’s coast and had a depth of 5 kilometers.
There were no reports of the earthquake having caused injuries or damages.
It came just three days after a 5.2-magnitude quake on the island of Crete
