Turkey Stops 330 Migrants Attempting Enter Greece via Lesvos

Turkish authorities seized a total of 330 migrants who were attempting to cross the Aegean Sea and reach European shores on Greece’s island of Lesvos, it was made public on Sunday.
As Reuters reports, Turkish authorities in the area of Kucukkuyu in the province of Canakkale, in the Dardanelles, managed to pick up a total of 330 migrants who were all attempting to reach the Greek island of Lesvos. The authorities conducted a total of seven different operations to nab the migrants.
All of those who were detained by the Turkish authorities were Afghan, Iraqi, Iranian and Syrian nationals.
The total number of migrants who have been detained by Turkey after attempting to enter Greece illegally just since August 10 is now 699.
