''Rubicon'' Anarchist Group Throws Leaflets at German Embassy in Athens

The German embassy in Athens was the target of an ”intervention,” as the well-known Greek anarchist group ”Rubicon” terms it, on Thursday afternoon.
At 4:30 in the afternoon local time, ten motorbikes drove up to the Embassy of Germany at Loukianou Street in central Athens and their drivers and passengers then threw scores of leaflets outside its entrance.
It is still unclear whether the police managed to arrest any of the perpetrators, but the anarchist group took responsibility for the leafleting incident by posting a statement on a Greek anarchist website.
The incident took place on the same day that Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis is visiting Germany to meet with the political leadership of the largest country of the EU.
