Super League leaders Olympiacos completed a hard-earned 2-1 win over this season’s surprise package OFI Crete at the Georgios Karaiskakis Stadium on Saturday.
Algerian striker Hilal Soudani scored a goal in each half, his second strike an especially memorable one. English striker Adil Nabi had equalized with a goal on the stroke of half-time.
PAOK cruised to a 3-0 victory over Lamia at the Toumba on Sunday afternoon to move back to within two points of Super League leaders Olympiacos thanks to three goals in the first 11 minutes from Josip Misic, Dimitris Limnios and Karol Swiderski.
Lamia’s keeper Markos Vellidis heavily at fault for the first two strikes.
