Mysterious Giant Craters in Argolis (video)

Two giant craters in Argolis in Peloponnese leave geologists and other scientists perplexed as to their origin.
The mysterious craters in the Pelei area of Argolis is a sight to be seen from above. The western crater is 215 meters (705 feet) in diameter and the eastern one is 230 meters (754 feet). The imposing craters are awe-inspiring.
Scientists are divided over their origin. Some argue that it is a fallen cave roof, but there is no cave nearby and it would have been huge if there was one. Others argue that they are craters created by falling meteors, such as those on the moon.
The absolute silence in their interior is broken only by the tweets of birds that find refuge in the vegetation inside the craters.
