PAOK Joins Olympiacos on Top of Greek Super League (Highlights)


PAOK climbed to the top of the Super League on Sunday after securing a straightforward 1-0 home win over Larissa, joining Olympiacos on 27 points.
Karol Swiderski opened the scoring for the reigning champions after 16 minutes to notch up his eighth goal of the season to spark jubilant celebrations among the home fans.
Despite creating several further chances, PAOK failed to add to the scoreline.


Olympiacos dropped points in Saturday’s 1-1 draw at Panionios. Mathieu Valbuena opened the scoring for Olympiacos from the penalty spot after 55 minutes, and looked to have earned three previous points for Pedro Martins’ side, but the home side battled back and drew level two minutes from time with a strike from Dimitris Emmanouilidis.
