Tasos Gerantides, a third-grade student from Pella, Northern Greece, is an “extremely intelligent” pupil, with a general IQ of 140.

Andreas Gerantides is Tasos’s father. Andreas spoke with the Athens and Macedonian News Agency and said: “Tasos has been very involved in mathematics from kindergarten and during his years in elementary school.”
Tasos comes from a family of farmers and his intelligence has amazed everyone.
”He has special features such as not sleeping too much… His brain can’t rest as we were told. We are still close to him and we will do our best to assist him to evolve in the best way,” the proud father noted.
When Tasos undertook a mathematics IQ test, he scored 148.5, 150 is the highest score possible for a human being.
And he hasn’t even been taught proper mathematics!
