Greece’s tennis superstar Stefanos Tsitsipas qualified on Friday for the finals of the Mubadala World Tennis Championship, now underway in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Tsitsipas punched his ticket for the final by beating the world’s number two player, Novak Djokovic from Serbia, by 2 sets to 1.
The first set was won by Djokovic with a score of 6-3; however, Tsitsipas surged back and won the second and the third by scoring 7-6 and 6-4 respectively.

Tsitsipas will play in Saturday’s final against either current world #1 Rafael Nadal or Karen Khachanov from Russia.
