One Dead as Rival Afghan Migrant Groups Clash in Central Athens

One person was killed and at least one other was injured on Thursday during a violent clash between rival migrant groups in the center of Athens.
The incident occurred in broad daylight on Menandrou Street, in a busy part of the Greek capital.
According to eyewitnesses, the two groups attacked each other with knives.
Greek police have confirmed that the clashes took place between Afghan migrants.
Both the unfortunate man who died at the scene, and the other who was seriously injured were rushed to the Evangelismos hospital.
Up to this moment, no arrest has been made. The incident is being investigated by the Attica Security Directorate.
