The Old Port of Mykonos, one of the busiest spots on this idyllic, cosmopolitan Greek island, was deserted over the weekend as footage from Mykonos Live TV shows.
The island’s year-round residents appear to be obeying the restrictive measures adopted by the government to close their bars and restaurants and to remain at home.
Although there have been no confirmed cases on the island vacation paradise, residents expect that the pandemic which is affecting Greece will have serious repercussions in the tourism industry.
