Greek health authorities announced on Monday that the total number of deaths related to the Covid-19 pandemic remains at seventeen.
The total number of diagnosed Covid-10 coronavirus cases is now 695 in the entire country.
The majority of the cases are recorded in the region of Attica, and most of the victims are male.
Sotiris Tsiodras, the Health Ministry spokesperson for the Covid19 coronavirus outbreak, said that according to their mathematical models, Greek authorities believe that approximately eight to ten thousand people must have contracted the virus in Greece so far.
It is noted that Greece has instituted a strict nationwide lockdown, which started at 6 AM on Monday morning.
