Greek Football Resumes on June 6


The Greek government on Wednesday has given permission to the country’s Super League to restart the football season on June 6. A maximum of 300 spectators would be allowed into the grounds.
Football came to an abrupt end at the end of February due to the coronavirus epidemic.
Olympiacos, PAOK, AEK, Panathinaikos, OFI and Aris qualified for the championship playoffs, while Atromitos, AE Larissa, Asteras Tripolis, Lamia, Volos NFC, Xanthi, Panetolikos and Panionios dropped into the regulation playouts.
The first round of playoffs includes three mouth-watering clashes:
AEK-Panathinaikos
Aris -OFI
PAOK – Olympiacos
