Prominent policymakers, entrepreneurs and academics from both sides of the Atlantic will participate in the 10th Annual Capital Link CSR Forum, titled “Economy and Society: The Next Day,” which is due to take place virtually on June 23.
The Forum, presented under the auspices of the Attica Region, the City of Athens & the Municipality of Piraeus, will discuss dealing with the myriad economic consequences from the Covid-19 pandemic.
Organizers note that restarting the economy is vital in order to secure the transition to a new growth model which will essentially contribute to a more active form of participation by all entities involved — and for society to return Greece back to the path of recovery.
Among participants in the Forum are prominent Greek American business leaders including John P. Calamos Sr., Founder, CEO and Global Co-Chief Investment Officer, Calamos Investments; John Catsimatides, Chairman & CEO of the Red Apple Group.
Also on hand will be Dean Metropoulos, Chairman of Metropoulos & Company and Dr. George Kofinas, the founder & Medical Director of the Kofinas Fertility Group and the Manhattan Reproductive Surgery Center.
Dozens of Greek officials, including Adonis Georgiadis, the Minister of Development & Investments, and senior representatives of Greek, European and international organizations and companies will also participate.
