As Greece has been hit by a heatwave in the past few days, rainfall and thunderstorms are forecast for Saturday night, bringing cooler weather in parts of the country.
According to the National Meteorological Service, the wet front will hit Macedonia on Saturday evening before spreading to Epirus and moving south to Thessaly, the Sporades islands, Peloponnese and Evia.
The same areas will be affected on Monday while the wet front is expected to disperse by Tuesday, with temperatures returning to normal for the season.
Temperatures reaching up to 38 degrees Celsius (100.4 F) in some areas prevailed since Tuesday in Greece, warning of a hot July.
