Coronavirus: Greece Reports 264 New Cases – 2 Minors in ICU

Greece’s National Health Organization (EODY) reported 264 new Covid-19 cases on Saturday; 31 people are currently in ICU with two minors among them.
Twenty-nine of the new cases were detected following checks at the country’s gateways. The total number of cases so far is 8,381, of which 55.1 percent are men.
Of the total cases, 1,832 (21.9 percent) are related to travel from abroad and 3,842 (45.8 percent) are related to already known cases.
The median age of the 31 people in ICU is 68 years. Seven of them (22.6 percent) are women and the rest are men. Of them, 41.9 percent have an underlying illness or are aged 70 and over.
Two new deaths were recorded on Saturday, bringing the total to 240.
Also, a total of 143 patients have been discharged from ICU since the beginning of the pandemic.
