Michele Morrone, star of “365 Days,” Netflix’s controversial answer to “Fifty Shades of Grey,” recently vacationed in the idyllic Greek island of Rhodes with his son. Morrone broadcasted the beauty of the island to his over 10 million followers on Instagram.
The 29-year-old Italian actor and singer is known for his role as Massimo Torricelli in Netflix’s “365 Days.” The film has both faced intense criticism for its erotic content, and broken Netflix’s records in terms of the most views in multiple regions over multi-day periods. “365 Days” charted as the top viewed film on Netflix in the U.S. for ten days, the second highest ranking in the platform’s history.
While on vacation, Morrone posted about his experience on social media. The largest island in the Dodecanese, Rhodes is known for its beautiful beaches and iconic history, dating from antiquity to the modern era. It has long been the choice of tourists, including celebrities, for their vacations.
Even in the face of Covid-19, Rhodes has welcomed many tourists in the summer of 2020. In July 2020 alone, Rhodes welcomed over 100,000 passengers from 793 international flights, making it a popular destination in the region.
