Greek health authorities announced on Saturday that 302 cases were detected in the country in the last 24 hours. Two more people died, raising the total number of fatalities since the start of the pandemic to 302.
53 people are being treated at ICU’s throughout the country. Their median age is 70 years.
Ten of those in ICU’s are women and the rest are men. 86.8% of intubated patients have an underlying disease or are aged 70 years and older.

Among the new cases is a 20-day-old Afghani infant and his homeless mother who have both tested positive near the Moria migrant camp on Lesvos.
They have both been transferred to Mytilini General Hospital from the streets, where they had been living after the devastating fire that reduced the camp to charcoal earlier in the week.
The baby is reportedly having breathing difficulties and acute fever, and might have to be transferred to Athens for treatment at an ICU by a flight of Greece’s Emergency Ambulance Service (EKAB).
