Greek health authorities announced on Sunday that 438 new coronavirus cases were detected in the last 24 hours throughout the country. Nine people hospitalized at ICU’s lost their lives.
The authorities said that 32 of the new cases are associated with known outbreaks and 28 were detected following checks at the country’s land borders and airports. The total number of cases is 25,370 , of which 55.6% are men.
There are 84 patients that are being treated at ICU’s. Their median age is 66 years. 24 (28.6%) are women and the rest are men. 94.0% of intubated patients have an underlying disease or are 70 years of age or older.
